Nova, formerly known as Kristin Hamilton of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania passed away late Wednesday evening, March 27th, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was 39 years young. Kristin was born February 10th, 1980 in Sellersville, PA. Kristin was the beloved daughter of Nanette Heck (Quirple), and Mark Hamilton (Donna) and was raised in part by her dad, Buzz Bryan. She was the proud mother of six beautiful children. Chrishaun Hill, Zion Hamilton, Xazlee Smith, Karma Hamilton, Noah Nelson and Lily Schmidt, sister to Holly Carroll (Jeff), Angeline Bryan (Danny), Heather Hamilton, and Mark Hamilton II (JoJo) and aunt to six nieces and nephews.
Kristin is loved tremendously by her family and friends and was surrounded by many of them when she passed (listening to music of course). She would tell you that her children were her life’s best work and knowing how they were thriving in life made her complete. She was so very proud to be their mother. She was a free spirit and marched to the beat of her own drum; one that often matched the beat of The Grateful Dead, Disco Biscuits, or Bob Marley, but indeed was entirely her own. She is a rainbow. Friends and family would tell you that you couldn’t help but be infected by her spirit if you were anywhere near her. Her dreadlocks, hula hooping, love for music and energy were core pieces of her identity. Kristin was like a star. Something eventually happens to all of us to where we think we are dying but with Kristin we know for sure that she was just turning into a superNOVA. Now every time we look to the night sky we can see our beloved Kristin shining down on us all.
Just like a supernova gives birth to other stars, she was able to give life to others upon her passing. The family takes comfort in knowing that Kristin is helping countless others live their best lives through her selfless act of organ donation. Even in death Kristin was looking out for someone else. All she ever wanted to do was be there for everyone whenever she could be.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a celebration of life ceremony (a true Rainbow Gathering) on Saturday, March 30th at Peace Valley Park, Pavilion Five, 770 New Galena Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 from 2-4 PM.
