Ronald Wayne Elliott of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home. He was 84 years old. Ronald was born March 2, 1940 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Joseph L. Elliott and the late Dorothy M. Elliott (nee - Bartholomew). He is the beloved husband of Carol Elliott (nee - Halupa); loving father of Joseph Elliott and his wife Andrea, Wayne Elliott and his wife Deborah, and the late Anne Smith and her husband Dovelle; grandfather of Janine, Nicole, Sara, Zachary, Zoe, Jessica, Macy, Jenna, Maxwell, Josh and Brant. Also survived by seven great grandchildren. Brother to Margaret, Ruth, John, George, and Bruce.
Ronald moved to Philadelphia in 1943. He attended Mastbaum High School and graduated in 1958. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. Ronald worked as a tool and die maker, and started in the industry in 1962. He was a partner in Kinetic Tool and Die from 1974 to 2003, and then in Tucker Industry from 2003 to 2013. Ronald loved sports. He was a helpful neighbor and a generous, caring man. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, and was an incredibly devoted husband and loving father. He will forever be missed dearly by all his family and friends.
