The following obituary was composed by John’s family:
Mr. John Russell Klein, Jr., 77, of Warminster, PA passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020. He was born November 28, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to Miriam Waters Klein and John Russell Klein, Sr.
Mr. Klein retired from the Philadelphia Police Department having served in the 22nd and the 35th Districts. He also served with his K-9, Eli in the 3rd and the 9th District and was an instructor at the Police Academy.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy J. Klein; a son, Douglas Klein and wife Shawn; a daughter,
Brenda Klein; a sister, Gail Klein and five grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Casey, Emma, and
Nya.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date but has been postponed due to concerns for corona virus. Information will be added to this page as soon as it becomes available. Please check back.
