LaQuann D. Harris, 30, of Glenside PA fought a long, hard battle with addiction and mental health, which ended peacefully on August 19th 2021. He was born October 25, 1990 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Joseph and Barbara (Kugler) Harris.

LaQuann’s favorite thing was to go to Sylvester’s Fish Market in Avalon NJ. He enjoyed cooking and was amazing at it.

LaQuann is survived by his parents Joseph and Barbara Harris; his brothers Anthony Harris and Scjalill Harris. His partner Adam Leidech. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, William and Barbara Kugler of Willow Grove, PA. His sister in law Lenea Rios and niece’s Kayleigh Lopez, Katalina Harris and nephew Kalais Harris. He is survived by his uncle and Godfather William Kugler of Ardsley and wife Jennifer Kugler, his aunt Bernadette Selgrath of Horsham and husband William Selgrath, his aunt and Godmother Elizabeth Hopkins of Abington and uncle Joseph Hopkins. His Aunt Theresa Smith from Philadelphia and his two uncles from Philadelphia Andre Harris and Tyrone Harris. Cousins too many to include, just know he loved each and every one of you and you were more than cousins you were his sisters and brothers. LaQuann’s best friend of 20+ years Shytia Howard from Philadelphia. LaQuann was the oldest of 11 grandchildren and he took that role seriously. LaQuann knew how to touch the lives of every single person he met. If he called you a friend, in LaQuann’s eyes you were family.

Our love, you are at peace now and the battles are over, and you can sleep with the angels. You will forever be in each and every one of us for the rest of our lives.

Relatives and friends were invited to arrive and gather on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and his Celebration of Life from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Metropolitan Funeral Service Inc (at Wetzel and Son), 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. A reception followed from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at North Penn VFW Post 676, 2519 Jenkintown Road, Glenside, PA 19038.
