Philip Joseph Sabatelli PhD, of Hatboro, Pa passed away on October 31, 2021 He was 79 years old.

Philip loved music, the theatre (especially when he was the one performing), and most forms of cinematic entertainment. Through his career as a college professor, he imparted knowledge, communication techniques, and critical thinking skills to hundreds of students.

He was a supporter of animal rights and loved to go camping especially at the Grand Canyon (one of his favorite places). Known for his sense of humor, he frequently told jokes, stories, and sang songs simply to make everyone around him laugh.

Philip leaves behind his loving wife, Paulette (née Timko), daughter Beth Myers, grandsons Samuel and Alexander Myers, stepdaughters Rebecca Allred (Jack), Jennifer Stadvec (John) and two loving granddaughters Jaymison Cherry Ziegler and Jordyn Stadvec, who enjoyed their times with “Pop Pop Phil”.

In addition to his human family, Philip leaves behind his fur-baby Bootsie; Philip’s constant companion and “other daughter.” Phil supported their local church, St. Jude and www.aspca.org.

Relatives and friends were invited to his funeral service on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. His graveside service followed at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Nancy M. Ludwig from Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church.
