The following obituary was composed by Dallas’ family:

Dallas Cody Alvey passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the young age of 26. The world has lost an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend.

Dallas was born in Utah on October 29th, 1995, to father Robert Alvey and mother Shelli Alvey. He was the oldest of two sons and shared a strong bond with his younger brother Skylar Alvey. He shared many years with them and had lots of memories of their time together.
Dallas was living in Provo, UT when he met his beloved wife Jocelyn Alvey. It was love at first sight and both were inseparable from that moment on.

His desire to provide a good future for his family led him to enlisting in the Marine Corps. He officially became a Marine on November 2015 and later was stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC.
Dallas made many lasting friendships growing up in Utah and also during his time in the Marine Corps. He was proud of the memories and friendships he experienced and cherished them greatly.
After the Marines, Dallas was able to enjoy family time and became a proud father to Liliana Alvey. He deeply loved his daughter and made sure to build an unbreakable bond with his baby girl despite the short time they had together. To Dallas, his family was among his greatest accomplishments.

Anyone that knew Dallas can happily remember the many hobbies and passions that made him who he was. Among them include Star Wars, cars, watches, fire arms, gaming, the outdoors, technology and so much more. The stories that he shared and stories that many others have of him are a great reminder of the amazing person that he was.

His memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved him. His last message to everyone was that love is the most important thing we have, so love each other fiercely.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. and memorial service from 11:00 to 11:30 A.M. and military honors rendered by the United States Marine Corps. from 11:30 to 11:45 A.M. at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 1201 Easton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19150.
