Janet Sheridan Ingram, 63 years old, passed away on January 11th after a long illness. Born in Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia on October 28, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Rosalie Mason (Sheridan) and Francis Sheridan, and stepdaughter to the late Howard Mason. Janet was married to Mike Ingram and they had a son Michael I. (Angela), the beloved sister to Joanne M. (Ed), Judith M. (deceased), and Daniel S., the adored grandmom to McKayla, Carter, and Landon, and a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews including several Godchildren.

A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School (‘79), she went on to earn her Associate of Applied Science degree from Montgomery County Community College (‘81) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Gwynedd Mercy University (‘83), practicing accounting and bookkeeping in the years leading up to motherhood. Janet was a resident of Lansdale for most of her adult life, she kept active in exercise and as a volunteer at the local YMCA for many years while maintaining close friendships with high school friends. She was an accomplished crocheter creating multiple generations worth of keepsakes for those around her and always remembered everyone on their special occasions. Loved ones remember her love for visiting the shore, how she served as the family curator that preserved precious family memories and history, the way she selflessly cared for her mother and stepfather in their declining health, and her unending faith. Above all, her generosity, thoughtfulness, and presence will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, January 20th at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Anglican Church, 1150 Bristol Rd, Southampton, PA 18966, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Internment Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn.
