The following obituary was written by Phillip’s family.
Phillip Charles Winder Jr., "Wink", of Willow Grove, PA died on January 30, 2025 at the age of 75. He was born May 16, 1949 in Abington, PA to Phillip C. Winder and Harriett Arlyn Winder (Yaeck). He is the father of Dawn Boyer and Jill Blasek; grandfather of Deann Boyer, Alexander (Shaina), Kayla and Jacob Blasek; great grandfather of Lillianna, Isaac and Nicolas; Brother of Letia (Richard) Wiser and Olivia (late Albert) Wilbur; Uncle to Jason Zimmermann, Nikolas Wiser and Ashley Wiser.
He attended Highland Elementary School, Abington High School and earned a degree from CHI Institute, but his main passion was cooking and was head chef at various restaurants.
Over the years Phillip also lived in the Pocono area, but mostly resided in the Glenside and Willow Grove areas.
His favorite pastime was fishing and vacationing in Ocean City, NJ during the summers enjoying his favorite seafood soups and dishes. He was an amazing musician excelling on the drums, piano and harmonica. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles.
Wink enjoyed life and loved to make those around him smile with his jokes and comical sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
