Janet A. Fleischman, 73, of Jenkintown Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. Born on April 30, 1952, in the Bronx, New York, Janet lived a life defined by strength, love, and perseverance.
Janet was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, friend, and caregiver. She worked tirelessly in the food industry and held many jobs throughout her life to provide for her family. Her dedication extended beyond her home as she proudly served the community as a crossing guard in Jenkintown. A woman of deep faith, Janet was a practicing Roman Catholic and leaned on her beliefs through life’s many challenges.
Janet faced adversity with remarkable resilience. After a life-changing accident left her partially paralyzed, she defied the odds and learned to walk again with the aid of a cane—an enduring testament to her strength and determination.
Janet is survived by her children: Christine (Joseph), Samantha, Anthony, Joseph (Fiorella), and Mary (Walter); and her cherished grandchildren: Douglas, Stephanie, Jake, Joseph, Anthony, Angelina, Milania, Henryck, Elianna. Her legacy lives on in their lives and hearts.
Janet’s life was not easy, but she never let hardship define her spirit. She will be remembered for her fierce love, unwavering determination, and the quiet strength that carried her through the toughest of times.
A celebration of life will be held privately at a later time. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
