Anthony J. DiPoalo, 57, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on May 1, 2026.
Born on August 19, 1968, in Philadelphia, Anthony was a proud alumnus of Northeast Catholic High School and later earned his Master’s degree in IT Leadership from La Salle University He was the beloved son of Dolores DiPoalo and Joseph DiPoalo and the devoted husband of over 20 years to his wife, Ruth.
Anthony was deeply passionate about music and was known for his extensive CD and record collection, which reflected his lifelong appreciation for a wide range of artists and genres. He generously shared that passion with others as a volunteer radio host on WPPM, where he hosted the program Sound + Vision. Through music, conversation, and community connection, Anthony left a lasting impression on listeners and friends alike.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his knowledge of music, and his lifelong love of the Philadelphia Phillies. Anthony’s presence brought comfort and joy to many, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he touched through his voice and his passion.
