The following was composed by Holly’s family:
Holly S. Robinson of Drums, Pennsylvania died Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Suburban Woods And Health Rehabilitation Center, after a short battle with cancer. She was 65 years old. Holly was born September 9, 1960 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harry McDaniel and the late Anne Marie McDaniel (nee - Sheeley). She is survived by her sisters, Sherrie Rizer (Charles) of Selbyville, DE, Kathleen Macready (Stephen) of Boyertown, PA, and Rebecca Cohen Clayter (Curtis) of Pottstown, PA. She loved equally her nieces and nephews, Kristen Macready, Israel Cohen, Jasmine Cohen, Bryan Wilson, Stephen Macready, Jarrell James, Timothy Wilson, and Tyler Macready, as well as eight grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Will Robinson, her daughter Ashley Girard, her niece Brandy Meehan and her nephew Shane Macready.
She attended Phoenixville area schools, graduating in 1978.
Holly had many jobs throughout her career, from cosmetic sales, office jobs, food trucks and most recently her love of taking care of flowers at Thomas Farms. Holly often described herself as "Hurricane Holly" and she definitely brought the wind! But, if you were lucky, you saw the softer side of Holly. She was the loving mom to her fur-babies Sadie Mae, Mr. Buttons and her beloved cat, Simba. She gave out free hugs whether you wanted them or not. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, Goodwill, Dollar Tree and loved to pick out gifts for others. She enjoyed feeding the wild deer at her home in the Pocono Mountains and taking care of her plants.
She was most proud of her sobriety, (religiously attending AA meetings until she was physically unable) and the many friends that helped her and whom she sponsored over the years. She collected turtles because of her well known mantra "Take the rabbit out of your head and put the turtle in!" She loved that so many people in her life from all over sent her turtles.
Some of Holly's fondest memories were traveling with her family as a child throughout the United States, mostly camping trips and visiting Canada, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
Holly's final arrangements will be privately held.
