The following was composed buy Bobby’s family:
Robert Karl Thompson born August 24, 1954, left this earth September 12, 2026 at the age of 72.
Known as Bobby and fondly remembered by those from many lifetimes ago as "BeBop" - he was a man who lived life to the strum of his own strings. Bobby's truest passions in life were music, his guitars and the Philadelphia Phillies. As a bass player, his guitars were his pride and joy, serving as the anchor to his bands and the soundtrack to his favorite chapters in life. He also leaves behind his two cherished cats, Rocco and Sammy.
Bobby was our big brother...while life took us on different paths and we did not share day to day moments in our later years, he remains a deep rooted part of our history. He was predeceased by our parents Thomas & Naomi Thompson and is survived by his brother Mark, sisters Mary Kay Leister (Bill) and Donna Parkinson (Mike), as well as nieces and nephews. A private peace has been found as we carry the best of his memory forward.
